TruthSeekers offers a journey through a large cross section of musical genres, from futuristic instrumentals to classic deep soul selections. A typical show may include an opening set of Dub from Lee Scratch Perry and move to selections from Nancy Wilson then warp in to ambient soundscapes, only to end conclude with beautiful instrumentals by some of the worlds best kept secrets, unsigned yet prolific emerging producers. We use music to communicate and transmit messages of inspiration, love and collective cosmic oneness.

Born out of a short run concept show called “The Movement “ which aired on UCLA’s KLA from 1998-2000, TruthSeekers has grown and evolved to be one of KPFK’s top music shows. We believe that music is the great equalizer. We believe, as did jazz great Sun Ra, that music is a universal language. “Music is a plane of wisdom, because music is a universal language, it is a language of honor, it is a noble precept, a gift of the Airy Kingdom, music is air, a universal existence … common to all the living.Music is existence, the key to the universal language. Through music, our common denominator, a powerful truth is revealed and it transcends all barriers and borders. It is through this medium of music that we believe minds can be eased and dreams realized by simply experiencing creativity and inspiration. We believe that music can wash away doubt, confusion, and fear to help reveal a person’s true higher self and purpose. It is with these concepts that we produce each show. Each show is a progression through this journey of the unknown timeless experience of being and becoming.It is our hope that we’d play combinations of songs, messages, quotes, and universal teachings that promote integrity and enhances character strength to help others overcome adversity in all of its various forms.
